2 armies from the books represent the vikings and Muslims in my case chaos vs elves

vikings .. I might even go more fantastical trolls as elite so I don't need to use bretonian archers as skirmishers..
Noble elves .. also some human cav to differentiate the 2 light cav units 1 has bows 1 has javelins
I'm doing my best to do a little paint each day.. busy life not always hit it .. green base 1st helps my psychologicaly then try and a unit in base coat of skin and armour then go back for details .. I need to refresh my paint other wise im looking at lots of variations of brown from contrasts.. also I've a nulin oil and a strong tone. For smaller models I might need to look at a lighter tone maybe? . Nulin oil everything.. Great for silver elves ..smaller models need brighter colours I'm told .. but.paint is paint anything is better then gray
I tryed celts germanic and romans but I didn't like the prints so I'm sticking with what I like from the forest dragon range
The despolier or chaos like army is the best one so far to match lion/dragon rampant for having elite hvy and light cav and infantry units
The spearman are very static compared to the despolier units very like the old models id love a spear in a swish or a stab motion similar with the sword masters I'd love more dynamic poses but for rank and file they do work great
