I've been dabbling in 10mm for lion rampant instead of 15mm and multi baseing, because I play or test a few games I want bases that work for multiply systems so i don't need to paint another set of units..
So for lion rampant that works on units of 12s and 6s I've a nice piece where I swap out bases for casualties .
Which is my 5 3 and 2 base
And my 2 individuals are free for 1 man Skirmish games or dungeon crawls . So I think it's a good ish system. Versatile...
Now about to test Mike lambos.. I'm stuck thinking.. do I play with 1 single modle as the unit or 2 or 3 multi bases. The multi bases look cool and more army as per picture 1 which has 1 side multibased and the other side single model units ..
Either way I think it's more printing and painting
Technically the speed of the games of lambo games 1 man counter representation does the job.
It's just me over thinking for now.
Any how I glued this board together with hers found on amazon or eBay. Its a cool a4 size desktop wargame
OK numbers needed
Baddies
11 warriors
11 spears
1 King
2 archers
4 horse
11 infantry this might be historical upgrade of warrior ?
3 knights again upgrade horse
6 different unit types ignoring king..
Human player
5 warrior
2 archer
3 horse
3 spear
6 infantry
4 colours ignoring infantry just being reworded warriors
10 different token types all in all I think
I think I factored in reinforcements
Due to youtube over watched some other lambo games specifically english civil war cannons and pikes looks it looks interesting slightly different activation mechanism.. I could used my empire muskets dwarf canons . It looks like a similar board size
